Pilot Medical Certificate

Pilot Medical Certificate Overview

TAS arranges all required pilot and cabin-crew medical examinations through recognized aviation medical centers approved by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). These centers conduct both initial and renewal medical assessments for Class 1 and Class 2 Aviation Medical Certificates.

The Class 2 certificate is required for private flying on a PPL, while the stricter Class 1 certificate is required for professional pilots holding a CPL or ATPL.

Medical examinations are performed by authorized Aviation Medical Examiners (AME) with extensive clinical and aeromedical experience.

TAS also maintains cooperation with airlines to support medical examinations for their flight and cabin crew members.
